Description

This 1980's vintage Diane Freis is in such a gorgeous abstract baroque print. The black and white flowers are set on a red & black background of geometric squares. The bodice and hemline feature a baroque design with a soft gold rope print.

Diane Freis was known for her bold, vibrant silk prints in the 1980's. Diane personally selected and often designed the fabrics she used so each collection was so unique. The thing we love most is her signature multiple row elastic waistband which was designed to accommodate a range of sizes! This makes her vintage dresses very collectible and so easy to wear!!

The front of this pretty silk dress has gold buttons down the center and each side of the dress has a slit that is secured by the same functional gold buttons. There are sewn in shoulder pads and the dolman sleeves have elastic at cuffs. The front and back center of the dress both have a 24" kick pleat at the hem.

We do not use size numbers for our pieces. Please refer to the measurements for the most accurate fit. We suggest that our clients measure a dress in a similar style that they currently own and compare those measurements to the ones provided below. We estimate this to fit a modern day size Medium to large. A size small could wear the dress with an oversized fit.
