Christian Lacroix Shoes

These are fabulous unworn vintage Christian Lacroix sandals with 3 and 1/2 inch heels, polka dot inner soles and 3 patterned bows. These shoes are 3 inches at the widest part of the outside of the sole and are labeled a size 35.5.

These shoes appear to have been unworn or worn only once at most and were made in Italy.

In the 1980's, Christian Lacroix was labeled by Vogue as "Paris' most talked about designer."  Reviewers commented that 'minimalism was usurped by his eccentricity.'

At a time when fashion was focused on Japanese inspired simplicity, and neutral tones, Christian Lacroix chose to design the antithesis of basic. He chose bold colors like red, fuchsia, pink and bright yellow. His luxurious fabrics and combinations of colors brought the sophistication of art, history, and drama into the fashion world.  We love the way he played with polka dots, patchwork and texture to make fashion not only elegant but fun!

"For me, elegance is not to pass unnoticed but to get to the very soul of what one is."
