This incredible 1980's Patrick Kelly quilted leopard print coat hits just below the knee. It was made in France and has a beautiful silk lining. The vintage animal print coat is open in the front with a single hook and eye closure at the neck, it has side slit pockets, and is made of a stretch fabric that is slightly puffy.
I love Patrick Kelly - if you don't know much about him, that's most likely because he died at the young age of 35. Kelly was originally from Alabama his designs were inspired by his female relatives and his southern roots. He moved to France in 1988, and in that same year, he became both the first United States citizen and the first person of color to be admitted as a member of the Chambre syndicale du prêt-à-porter des couturiers et des créateurs de mode.
