THIS ITEM IS ON HOLD. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE.

This is an absolutely exquisite ivory slipper satin 1930s bias cut nightgown with beautiful lace trim. This was designed by Helen Lobel and was purchased at Nicholas Ungar in the late 1930's. This gown could be worn as an evening dress or wedding dress as well! The gown is in excellent condition with a beautiful low back and the satin is incredibly luxurious.

The gown came with a robe and I am showing photographs of it - it has a tear at the hemline and the satin on one of the buttons is coming off, but I will include it if you would like.  Please just mention in the notes with your order and I will put it in your box with the gown! I can find very little information about Helen Lobel, but I did find a design that she registered with the patent office for a house coat from the 1930s and I've included that image just for fun!

We estimate this gown to fit like a US size 6.
