Red Carpet fashion - Lupita Nyong'o in Ralph Lauren
The 2014 Golden Globes had a lot of fashion "misses" but plenty of perfect looks to well make up for those that went wrong! Topping off my red carpet list this year is Lupita Nyong'o. Nyong'o became an instant fashion icon in this tomato red Ralph Lauren cape dress. Statuesque and sophisticated, the star of 12 Years a Slave literally made jaws drop when she appeared on the red carpet in this phenomenal gown.
Cate Blanchett in Armani at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards
Elegant, sophisticated, sublime; those are the words I would use to describe Cate Blanchett in Armani at the Golden Globes this year. She never disappoints when it comes to fashion or acting and she was never more deserving than this year of both the award for best actress in Blue Jasmine and as a fashion star on the red carpet.
Wolf of Wall Street star Margot Robbie was literally glowing with a sleek side part bun in a gorgeous Gucci gown.
Olivia Wilde in Gucci and Kerry Washington in Balenciaga
Pregnancy never looked so good! Olivia Wilde in sparklling green Gucci and Kerry Washington in Balenciaga.
Some of my favorite hair and make up looks were donned by Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lawrence and Taylor Swift. It's nice to see variety and individuality in hair and make up this year instead of a mass array of "beach" hair or over worked up dos! Congratulations to all of the winners and nominees!
