Chic Sister Acts With Style on International Siblings Day

Chic Sister Acts With Style on International Siblings Day

I have a special place in my heart for sisters.  I have only daughters and I come from a family of all girls.  You are familiar with a lot of famous sisters, I'm sure, like Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie and Kendall, Solange and Beyonce, Mary Kate and Ashley, Paris and Nicky, etc.. But on this International siblings day, I thought I'd pay tribute to some fashionable sisters from other decades who I think were particularly chic.

The Acheson Sisters

These ladies are also somewhat special to me, as they are my husband's great Aunts. The Ladies Alexandra, Mary and Theodosia Acheson were the three daughters of the fourth Earl of Gosford. I certainly wish I had some of their gowns!

The three famous Hungarian-American actress sisters in the Gabor family were Magda (1915 – 1997), Zsa Zsa (1917 – 2016), and Eva (1919 – 1995). They were always glamorous fashion darlings.
